People talk about parallel communities. Building outside the system. Ignoring the pharaoh.

But Moses didn't ignore Pharaoh. He confronted him. He went to the throne room. He demanded. He showed signs. He forced the issue.

The system had to be confronted before the people could be free.

Parallel communities matter. You need somewhere to go. But you also need to break the power of the one holding the chains.

Moses didn't just lead the people out. He made Pharaoh want them out.

That's the part they're missing. You can't build something new while the old still has a grip on your throat. You have to break the grip.

Not with violence. With truth. With exposure. With refusal.

The pharaoh has to be dealt with. Not ignored.
