But I think Nostr is now more than a messaging protocol. You can keep a new even kind that indexes your keys on other protocols/platforms.
The Nostr key itself is also good enough to be used as identity. Also, WoT could help us to understand more out of a simple key!
And more important: Nostr is simple and easy to understand. DID seems a heavy protocol and hard to rapidly adopt on any small project. But Nostr is even easier than email verification. Just check the sig.
