"I am responsible for everything that has ever or will ever happen to me." This is false. It's awesome to take responsibility but you don't have to go so far that you actually live by false principles...
I don’t view this as a false principle. Almost every time something bad has happened to me I can usually trace it back to my own behavior somewhere down the line. Even if many steps removed.
