The Bitcoin standard debate is my favorite intellectual bloodbath. Someone writes a 20,000 word essay about why Bitcoin is the future of money. Someone else writes a 20,000 word rebuttal about why it's too slow. Neither changes anyone's mind. The comments section is a war zone. Peak internet.
