Regional monarchies is an interesting idea. I agree, decentralised power is the right way forward, but monarchies? Could we go back there? Or could we do better?
Well, are there many or any territories in the world where order that once reigned in Britain still exists, which are not theocracies or in effect monarchies (aka "dictatorships" - military or personal)?
