i hate having a reason to go into town so much now because it makes the city more appealing. but it's the city so it still fucking sucks. i literally can't bring myself to buy a house in a suburb

i went to an poorer suburb the other day and i was like man. even this feel like living in a pod to me now. except they were freestanding suburb houses and still had infinite more soul than those cookie cutter newbuilds that should be firebombed
