Would you say that fact and truth are then essentially the same?
Idk facts seem like recorded history, or atleast mostly used as such. They cannot be used to predict the world, and hence is not self evident.
John F Kennedy was shot and murdered is a fact, also possibly the truth, but I have to trust the onlookers and people alive at the time to verify and even then I have to trust their testimony.
Truths are self evident. 2+2 will always equal 4, you don't have to trust your math teacher for it to be true, you can add 2 and 2 of the same thing to see if it holds, and you can repeat it as many times in different circumstances to verify.
But this is epsitomology and I don't really get into it as much, If anything we can take away the fact that truths are self-evident.
