What's affordable "in cash" for you? Ok now how about the "average person" because statistically speaking 40% of people have less than $500 in their savings in the United States.

Guess we are taking the bus and "saving up" according to OP.

As we can plainly see when he replied to me he mentioned driving a Hyundai accent that cost him $2500.

He didn't mention what year this was or how many miles were on the car or what year the car was though! Convenient that he would leave these details out isn't it! Almost like he didn't struggle as bad as he's leading people to believe.

This post is such a spiritual boomer struggle Olympics take it's not even funny.

Go ahead and open up auto trader for your local area and tell me exactly what care OP is telling people to buy and then call up your insurance company and ask them what the monthly rate is for that. Because we are talking about people with limited income I would assume paying six months at a time.

But yeah bootstraps or whatever the fuck right?

I did not struggle, because I had a cheap car I could afford and lived with a roommate until I established myself instead of bitching about how easy the boomers had it (I'm a millennial btw) 40% of people buy brand new pickup trucks and wonder why they have no money
