Nice paper. Thank you. So basically EI is explained by other constructs so isn't unique and therefore its usefulness is limited. That makes sense. It was always so difficult to separate out what could be attributed to it and how, which is obvious from my previous question.

Empathy is definitely overrated. Being a sponge for people who can't return the openness is draining. And even if they can return it, there needs to be limits; boundaries are good and healthy.

I always say there are so many stupid people in the world with embarrassment, because it feels so egoistic and judgmental, but maybe it's just sadly true.
