I have not grown asparagus but i have planted basil with tomatoes and calendula flowers too for pests. Oh and cannabis too in between tomato plants but that was only for camouflage. lol

I can’t see how that would work tbh. Both take up a lot of space and need deep roots. Asparagus pairs really well with strawberries though. They are shallow rooted and the asparagus spears will shoot above them.
