I don't know if I believe the people who say they never experience nostalgia and I wonder if they are thinking of it strictly in the commercialized sense.
The past is a country you can never visit again and that kind of sad, and also maybe wonderful? To me that emotion is "nostalgia"
It used to be much more powerful for me when I was in my 20s, but as I age I'm hardly ever struck by it in the same way. Almost like I've gotten over it in some way.
