There’s a lot of misinformation about this feature. It does not disable likes for other people. It just turns off likes for people who enable it. I don’t see why anyone would be upset about this. ...
You are basically only giving them an option to respond OR zap, which they are zapping, but are receiving ‘likes’ instead. It would make me feel like it’s unfair and I would consider leaving nostr.
