“Make yourself useful” is some of the best advice I’ve ever received.
I think it was supposed to an insult, but something something about lemons being lemonade or whatever.
I don’t think it was an insult. When I said it to my kids it was more an encouragement to find a way to be a contributor rather than a taker. Don’t need to stand around waiting for dad to tell you what to do next when you can look around and see what needs doing. Either way, it’s good advice 🚁😎
