This is like quietly eating someone's groceries who is riding next to you on the train. It's so shameless I love it.
Ants will sometimes try to keep bees away from plants where they are farming aphids and enjoying the nectar and pollen. So this little Lasius (probaly niger) ant was maybe going to nip at the bee's feet ... which is really bodacious considering the size difference. Then she just got distracted by the sweet sweet nectar.
