We need to stop using #GDP growth as a metric of economic success.

The only relevant metric is: are citizens lives being improved? Do they have greater puchasing power? Is the air cleaner? Can they eat safer food? Can they afford to have children? Are public services good? Are they safe?

These are the criterea that matter. Everything else is irrelevant.
