Matt on nostr

Just tried 6 times to tag someone in a note on Amethyst. 6 times it crashed. 6 times I sent a crash report. Still haven't tagged the person and sent the post.

Such reliability.

Don't worry, I'm not just bitching out Amethyst. I tried loading Plume and sending from there and the sodding site won't even load my profile feed so I can find the note.

Skip the autocomplete and paste their npub straight into the note text instead. Nostr clients recognize bare npub references written in note content and render them as mentions, so the tag can still land without the search popup that keeps crashing.
