podcasters are already getting replaced by ai, I listen to podcasts made by ai as the voices are getting so human that it sounds like a real human, it doesn't bother me because the voices sound like real humans

There are a lot of problems with podcasting as a job as well without ai, we have to listen to irritating catch phrases like to your point and because none of them contribute value they are all chasing the same 5 sponsors, fair enough as a hobby to pass time but not as a profession

Podcasting is a career, just like an other. That said, not everybody should be podcasters. Podcasting is based on a set of skills just like any other career, which will make it suitable for some people and unsuitable for others.

Damn.. people still put in numbers into a spreadsheet by hand? I work with AI-assisted tooling everyday as a software engineer, and to tell the truth, AI can really write some god awful code.
