I fully changed my mind about #privacy and security recently
My friend showed me a movie about
[email protected]
It honestly scared me to realize how much data about me is already available to corporations and potentially to anyone else. In today’s world, it feels even easier than it was in his time. What used to be exceptional now seems almost normal, not just for governments, but for ordinary hackers too.
That’s why I:
- deleted all my AI chatbots' conversation history and memories, and found Venice.ai decentralised alternative
- switched from Google services to Proton and Brave
- changed all my passwords to secure ones and started using Bitwarden
- started closing my laptop every time I finish using it 👀
I know it’s impossible to erase all the information about me. But at least I can try to protect the new #data from leaking.
What tools do you use to be secure online?
