Tell me if I am wrong. All these big bitcoiners that recommended cold card users not to roll the dice or use a Passphrases never had any bitcoin stolen. Does that make sense because it seems illogical unless they were complicit.

Sounds like classic survivor bias to me—those without losses often preach the strictest rules, while the real victims usually learn the hard way.

It's hard to advise new users to add complexity to their setup, because it can easily go the other way where they lose access to their funds. Highly dependent on an individual's level of knowledge & understanding. So not convinced it is influencer malice. But leaning towards it being a deliberate ru...
