Reminder that a universal healthcare system would take at least 20% of your paycheck in new taxes and that’s the optimistic estimate.
The US already spends 18% of GDP on healthcare. Handing that bill to the federal government doesn’t make it disappear, it just removes your ability to opt out.
Giving the same government that built this mess a monopoly on it fixes nothing.
