Tinned fish at the commissary. Protein powder is like currency and they can squeeze it under the doors of their pods in envelopes to each other. 🤔

Tuna, sausage and mystery meat. Both from chow and commissary. Body under stress from weights. Hours of workout; both from metal weights and body weight. Environmental stress. Essentially, becoming Kodiak grizzlies.

I think the answer is clear. You don't need that much protein. From the inmates I know very few if any are getting even 100g per day.
