Personally, I think AGI remains a "mythical" concept relative to the current state and development pathway of AI -- I'm generally with Cory Doctorow on this point that expecting the current incarnatio...
- AGI - my definition - Turing complete computer that can reliably knowledge.
- We will have the same moral obligations to them as we have to each other.
- It may be that those AGIs that have a drive to self preservation will be more likely stick around, and thus become prevalent.
- Those that don't "get out of bed", won't survive.
