@nostrich​ just shared that he got a warning before tweeting the word “moron.” This really rubbed me the wrong way.

“Moron” is used by literal children. I wouldn’t even consider it a true insult.

But over the past week, I saw a public figure casually post a video of animal abuse/neglect, a group of teens beat up a kid with special needs, and someone literally get shot.

But don’t say “moron.”

Thank you, devs, for building Nostr and building on it.

Crazy how the one with no censorship is the more tame and sane one. Almost like that’s the right idea.
