Coldest I've ever known it here was -22ºC during a night shift. It was -14 driving into work. It was always a few degrees cooler where I worked (It was out in the sticks), so, -16 by the time I got to work.
It not noticeably cooler during the night. I phoned the security lodge at about 2 o clock in the morning to ask what the temperature was (It had a little weather station on the roof) -22😮.
