Facts, as described here, seem to be quite high resolution. They might miss some of the benefits of specs. Why not spec->facts?
I do something like that - I use a little bit of BDD in my workflow.
That said, if there is a drop in interest in SDD then there must be a reason for it. I never liked using the famous implementations like spek-kit and all that because they take away a lot of my control.
Maybe the move towards facts is really a move towards control.
