The EU is caring so much for privacy that they basically banned Monero from exchanges and tries to prohibit merchants from excepting it.
So much for freedom and privacy. At this point I believe that the EU is a giant liability. Most people would be better off without it and that is a process that will accelerate until it (the EU) is gone.
The time to change the time line was 10 years ago and the EU vehemently decided against human rights and freedoms.
