It needs another small step. Buy more from small and local businesses. Buying less but only spending with big chains won’t actually change much. But supporting small local businesses will put the soul back into communities.

It took me such a long time to stop buying (into) useless shit. Quite hard in the beginning. The older I get, the more I make, the less I buy. Feels great.
