It seems BitChat, much like Nostr, hasn’t quite gained traction. People haven’t really adopted it, and the technology hasn’t quite captured the mass interest yet.
Both basically Manchurian projects designed to delay decentralization.
Nostr at least will be replaced with another nostr that's actually designed to work. Dunno about bitchat
