as a person who's pretty political it's been a challenge for me to grapple with the things about "my side" that I disagree with, and one of them is rampant censorship and moral policing. Unfortunately...

The ones on the right are motivated by religion. The Bible says it's wrong (supposedly).
The ones on the left are motivated by feelings. It makes them feel icky, and it should make you feel icky, too. And if it doesn't, you're a bad person.
