When liberties are taken away from people and totalitarian infrastructure wins, it’s a bad day.
Just because i know how to use nostr or freedom tech doesn’t make it less bad that use of certain of these technologies will be criminalized. That if it continues in the direction it is going in, the internet in a private manner becomes criminalized.
It makes basic digital freedom rights adversarial and leads us into a future that makes it harder for activist and whistleblowers to exist.
To me, that is bad.
