Nostr generally has poor discovery. I don't have many moments on here where I find new people to follow that I don't already know from other platforms.

Thankfully, being decentralized, the client that comes up with more effective algos will have an advantage and will get copied. I just wish there were more interesting data-driven attempts at discovery being tried.

Try #Amethyst and go in the "conversation" section. There you will find a feed with all the comments and reply of your follows, and see with who they interact and much more discussion and notes with different topics. It's like global but filtered by your follws signals.

Agree. Both content and user discovery need a lot of improvement. It's slowly happening with some clients. It will get better. I hope this year becomes the year of discovery and the year of outbox models.

Hashtags are great for discovery. As are the feed options on Primal. #grownostr has tons of content that is mostly not BTC related. Broadens things so much.
