I'm posting this in case someone is not yet aware. There is an active attack on Cold Cards, a popular hardware Wallet with great marketing.

Unfortunately it has a bug that allows users to make a seed without the required 128 bits of entropy and over 100 million dollars worth of Bitcoin was stolen by seeds with low entropy.

People who did not provide 100 dice rolls are at risk, but you should treat all of these products as at risk if you own one.

I feel awful for those who were robbed. Please seek help if you need it.

Cold Card's incompetence is a symptom of a larger disease: centralized wealth storage. Bitcoin's promise of decentralization is being strangled by firms like Coinkite.
