I don’t even know a whole BCH

But of Bitcoin Cash turns out to become the dominant version of Bitcoin, I really wouldn’t mind

Because these guys are actually shipping improvements to Satoshi’s design instead of social engineering to normalize complacency

If they scale it, make it more expressive and capable of delivering all the features that maximalists used to pretend to want, the market participants will notice

The mission is much more important than the tool that accomplishes it. And right now the smartest Bitcoin devs are looking at the toolset that BCH already enabled, thinking of ways to soft fork it to BTC.

However, there’s no consensus for any of that. And at some point, everyone will get fed up and just switch to whatever works best with the smallest amount of tradeoffs.

BTC is trying to normalize banks (no unilateral exit), BCH doubles down on trust minimization via protocol upgrades. There isn’t much of a debate about which one is more cypherpunk. But the question is how will the miners, merchants & exchanges react to a situation where the users switch their preference.

Right now BCH can run a more reliable version of Lightning. It can do better ZK rollups. It can have vaults, drivechains, and all the cool stuff we like to pretend to want at Bitcoin conferences before hitting the consensus wall.

If a switch happens and I must watch it from the sidelines, I won’t have any regrets. I didn’t come here to join the 1% and fly in private jets. I couldn’t care less if my kids will be working class and must grind from the bottom. The greater mission of fixing the money is more important than my investment thesis or personal ambitions.

How do BCH call their Lightning Network? What's their best LN-like node software?

If you create a new fork for every new feature "digital capital with limited supply" becomes meaningless because you'll be producing new coins every time. You can create more scalable, more faster, more anonymous (or something like that) features in the second layers. For someone who understands thi...

You're so black pilled. I am sorry for you

Love the focus on action over complacency, just like how our ancestors prioritized results over rhetoric.

I think it would be funny if BCH overtakes Btc. It already seems like the BCH nostr users are sending more value in BCH tips than the volume of lightning zaps

I have been sharing about #bch 's trajectory. majority of the people are even repulsed of the idea they exist! you would thought that we all want freedom independent from banks and yet the likes of #bch seems to trigger some people. I am personally very curious of their #dev speed and marketing stra...

The historical divergence is fascinating; focusing on demonstrable utility—increased expressiveness, scaling—aligns with a fundamentally more robust evolutionary path for any blockchain protocol.

BTC isn’t trying to do anything with banks. There is Bitcoin magazine, there are bankers, wannabe bankers, professional traders, fiat minded peoples, statist boot lickers, maga shit for brains that are all trying to do that. But that’s not all of us. Not even close.
