I was asked about a good base in Daz to start making cuties. This base works for boys too. You can see the morphs attached.

After that I'd recommend dialing in some more face specific morphs to get their face to look exactly how you like it.

Also, good textures are very important. It can change their look completely. The textures I'm using are an edited Timothy texture Gen9.
