How many years has it been now that you still can't explain what Nostr is?

Users, developers, and paying customers: - Users cannot dictate what developers will create. - Developers cannot dictate what users will prefer. - Paying customers can determine the speed, direction, and viability of some projects, but not control the other two.

Yup, more so on nostr than anything else since "I'll just use this other client that's doing what I want and not this one, with absolutely no friction at all"

Yeah. It is the core, this is what I care about it.

Remember that Simpson's episode where the car company decided that they should let average customers design the cars, and then we got The Homer?

I'm not a dev.. here is what I want, I want to be able to add custom icons to my username using URLs, my goal is to add a Bitcoin ico to my username since the Bitcoin emoji doesn't exist in the emojis.

Fact.

Don't force me Vitor I am lazy

yes pls?🙏

not really

True. We will get better. Users I mean hahah

Vibe coding allows people without the technical skills the opportunity to build their own experience too. Maybe not as polished, but fun to do.

Grateful that one dev on nostr seems to understand this. Excited to try amethyst when I finally switch to android. Been a long time coming.

Not sure why you say that. Nostr is most definitely a hornets nest of devs who make it whatever they want it to be. There are basicaly almost no users. Only devs.

Honestly the first time in years I can say a true amen to this. Nostr is true freedom

And this is why you're my favourite dev on nostr

Build it and they will come. The inventor of the automobile didn’t wait for people to want a car over their horses. People couldn’t even conceive of what a car was. History could teach nostr a few things..

I want it to be bitcoin at 250k

What about Bitcoin Core?

GM

Yeah, just same as Bitcoin
