Me too. We used to drag our PC’s out to the comp sci lab at UBC in the late 90’s where my buddy was a network administrator, and play Quake 4 vs 4 deathmatches on stanford.edu till 4am. At home we were on 28.8 modems but UBC had a T1 line that served the whole campus. Pinging sub 30ms to a serve...

we still do them.. πŸ˜‡ once or twice a year. Quake, Starcraft, Flatout2, and more.... awesome games! but we do it only with 8-16 people.. gaming laptops makes it easy nowadays πŸ˜„
