While there are parallels, I think nostr has a much more decentralized web of users and developers. A lot more robust than what Urbit was doing.
Nostr is making progress, the apps are getting better all the time. Will it ever get as big as say facebook or TikTok? Probably not but is that even a goal that we should be striving for? Im just glad we have an option to leave big tech. Without Nostr I wouldn’t have an unfiltered voice online. I appreciate Nostr and I’m not going anywhere
