I was giving serious consideration to trading in my '23 Honda Pilot for a '26 Subaru Outback, as I just wanted a smaller vehicle and the Subaru checked most of the boxes.

I looked at the dimensions, Outback is about 7" shorter in length and 5" in width.
Yes, the Outback gets better mpg's, but how long will I need to drive it to justify the $11,000 cost after trading in the Pilot?
