The internet, bitcoin and nostr will together precipitate the demise of today's political systems and nation-states.

What comes next?

I like to imagine a more decentralised form of society, where leaders have to constantly earn their right to lead.
Where wealth flows naturally to those helping to create a sustainable, healthy, and culturally rich society. Where society members take responsibility for themselves first, then their families and then their neighbours. With compassion. And common sense.
Where what makes us uniquely human is celebrated and revered.
Where who you are matters. Not what you have.

That's a future I can get excited about.
