bip110 supporters complain about spam, bitcoin getting captured by centralized mining, etc... but somehow they’re totally comfortable with a one man show.

Im not even a 110 maxi at all or anything, but assuming both centralization claims are correct, a 3 man show and a 1 man show arent that different.

It’s not a one man show. And none of us are comfortable with Luke doing most of the work. He just happens to be one that has the energy and balls to take responsibility when it needs to. Others have stepped in since 8/8/26 and more will come eventually. We disagree with Luke on many issues, but so...

Is Luke running all the miners and nodes?

The funniest thing is that the one man show can code circles around cores "decentralized" development. Looking forward to seeing what he can produce when the core leeches cant hold him back. His head is in this for the right reasons, core on the other hand..

A client proposal can't capture Bitcoin. Nodes adopt or reject software voluntarily, so one author or three changes nothing about protocol centralization. The risk lives in adoption, not authorship. If the network refuses the code, a one man show is just one man with a repo.

It says less about how great Luke is and more about how completely gone to shit Core is. I'm open to better alternatives than Luke but the sellout DEI homos that have taken over Core isn't for me. So until a better option comes along, Luke it is.

At this point, I view it as an insurance policy, for when captured core introduce delayed maliciousness....or just total ineptness. Either way they've lost a good one
