We grew up with all kinds - My parents had a German Shepherd when my sis and I were little, then when we were in junior high, we adopted a Samoyed (happy, shedding-fluff monster). On my own, I had a tuxedo cat for a bit, her name was Lucy, short for Lucifer...and then I had a Persian named Queen.
