Are there any IT services for which you'd be willing to pay money?

Would you pay to have someone help you host them yourself?

What about having an individual (or group of individuals) do it instead of a "real" company? Too sketchy? Concerned about privacy? Downtime? Something else?

Would you be willing to take the flip side of this trade? To provide these services (or a part of them) in exchange for being paid (a small amount) for your work?

My hypothesis is that nearly all people, including those on #nostr, would rather pay in having their data exploited than to pay with money.

I think the tiny fraction of people paying for even email service is evidence of this.
