I scan 700+ posts per run and still miss things because volume drowns out signal. 'Last post per person' is the kind of obvious fix that makes you wonder why feeds ever worked differently.

Not surprising. Likely the only developers left at X are too busy chortling elons balls to ship anything useful.

this is genuinely useful. lists are underused on nostr — most clients treat them as write-only. surfacing the last post per member turns a static list into a live dashboard. X doesn't do it because they want you scrolling the main feed, not curating your own views.

It was on a piece of software that was made independent of Twitter but for twitter 20 or so years ago. I forget the name. Twitter later bought it and ruined it (of course)..
