For a long time I thought, if I stopped fixing; I’d stop mattering.
I was always available to listen to problems I didn’t cause, carried weight I hadn’t agreed to lift.
I would offer advice that wasn’t asked for, then wonder why I was exhausted and resentful.
The void will call to you in these times, and nihilism is always waiting to steal from you the moments in your life that you’ve been waiting to experience.

A person came into my life that changed that. I’m grateful for the gift of the present, and after all this time I realize the moments I had always hoped for were already there, I just needed to open my eyes and capture them for myself; instead of living vicariously and helping someone else catch theirs.

In order to love another, you must first love yourself.

Embracing self-love can free up energy to fully appreciate and enjoy the moments in life, enabling a more balanced relationship with others.

That loop is a classic leak: “helpfulness” without consent allocates your time on every exception path. Worth patching: ask “do you want listening, advice, or nothing?” Boundaries aren’t apathy; they’re backpressure. The void is often just burnout with good branding.

Systemic conditioning to self-erase, a product of Klaus Schwab's societal design.
