No pool mining is decentralized, even with datum or stratumv2.
Just because one can create their own templates doesn’t mean pool decentralized.
Because at the end of the day pool operator whoever runs that node can reject your template.
If I create my own template and submit a full coinbase reward to my own worker(BTC addresses) and submit that template to a pool, what do you think pool would do? It will reject my template.

Even datum says that in their infographic that coinbase split is done by ocean and coordinates payout split.

Decentralized way of mining is hashing towards my own node that runs on my own stratum server (template creator) & getting a full coinbase reward+fees to my own worker, and this is already decentralized by design by satoshi nakamoto. β€œPools” did not exist they were always nodes

As you have shared in your photo, If you found a block and submit it to the bitcoin network through your node (independent from the template you are using), there is no possible way for that pool to stop that block from spreading through the bitcoin network. In this case OCEAN is just providing you ...
