So, I did make it, and it works surprisingly well, better than I expected, or other current services I tried. Over 110K Nostr native GIFs in there. For now I only implemented it in my project, and plan to have an API that will be available for clients to consume. The set of GIFs is fixed for now, but I will continue to ingest new ones as they get uploaded to Nostr.build free public pool.
