I was surprised to learn about it as well, seems TikTok is sipping through everything lately. The experts are fighting over if today or tomorrow, but I guess it's not looking too good for camp today.

The rapture seems to be a niche American evangelical nonsense. Although I do quite like the trashy Left Behind films inspired by it lol
