This is a big part of why I don’t engage much on Nostr, and some of the “cult leaders” are my most prominent personal critics, so it just doesn’t make sense to be around.

the cultish rhetoric on nostr really puts me off, no wonder retention rate is near 0. critic voices are often made fun of and muted or ridiculed to oblivion even when their criticism and concerns are valid.

Sure, the "cult leaders" are prominent here and there are a number of cults rotting Bitcoiners.
