Outbox model. Each user you follow declares the relay they post to. Amethyst connects to all the relays of all your follows so that we can download any post they do in any of their relays.

Also, this is for the background use. We keep all connections alive for 1 minute since the app goes to the background. Then it should only check your own relays. So, it takes some time to update the notification popup.
