Anyone got laptop recommendations? #asknostr ...or advice?

Need something that handles Ableton, Photoshop, some video editing (not much), not fussed about the screen. Need it to last ages and ages. I suppose around £1k 🫪

Consider the MacBook Air if you value ease of use and longevity. I've had great luck with it. Also, look into refurbished models for savings.

Generally speaking you get much more powerful pc per dollar going with non-apple

I have an M1 MacBook Pro. I have Ableton Suite and when I get around to using it, it does fine for my very minimalistic attempts. I use Affinity Designer etc instead of PS and it rocks! I know it’s not a recommendation but I was glad I switched from PC to Apple from a music/art creative perspectiv...

I would never tell you to get a macbook. I tend to spend $1200-1500 on a laptop. My minimum ram size is 32gb these days. A video card with 16gb of vram preferred. Lot of laptop versions of the card is 8gb, if the extra 8 adds to much to the price, Accept 8. I prefer amd processor. Use cpubenchmar...
